Payment-card information may be processed directly by an applicable payment processor rather than being retained by Musify.

We do not intend to publicly expose precise school, home, or live location information.

Musify’s default rule is that private messages, private uploads, payment information, identity documents, and sensitive personal information are not used for generalized AI model training.
Hey DJ is an AI-assisted feature. Musify will clearly identify Hey DJ as AI-assisted at or before meaningful interaction.
Information provided to Hey DJ may be processed to:
Fulfill your request
Provide the requested creative or discovery function
Maintain safety and security
Troubleshoot the service
Conduct limited product evaluation as disclosed
Voice commands may be processed when necessary to perform the requested function.
Musify does not create a unique voiceprint for identification by default.
Musify does not provide payment, identity, or tax information to a generative AI model except where a narrowly necessary and separately approved workflow requires it.
If Musify proposes to use private personal information or private content for generalized AI training in the future, the change will be subject to appropriate privacy and AI review, updated public notice, and consent or opt-out controls where required.
Ordinary speech used for command recognition is not treated as a biometric voiceprint unless Musify derives or stores a biometric template for uniquely identifying a person.
At launch:
Musify will not use persistent voiceprint-based login or identity matching.
Musify will not create or use biometric voice identification without dedicated review and appropriate controls.
Musify will not clone another identifiable person’s voice without appropriate authorization and applicable rights.
If a future feature uses biometric identification, Musify will implement appropriate notice, consent, security, purpose limitation, disclosure restrictions, and destruction controls.
Standard Musify accounts are intended for users 13 years of age or older.
Users under 13 may not create a standard Musify account unless Musify later launches a separate compliant child or family experience.
Users between 13 and 17 may receive additional privacy and safety protections.
Teen protections may include:
More private profile defaults
Reduced discoverability
Restrictions on unsolicited adult-to-teen messaging
Enhanced abuse and safety controls
Precise location disabled by default
Restrictions on sensitive-data advertising

Creator payouts, independent seller accounts, and paid-event organizer functions are restricted to users who are 18 or older at launch.
If Musify becomes aware that a standard account belongs to a child under 13, we may restrict the account and take appropriate steps involving verification, deletion, parental-consent procedures, safety, or legal compliance.
Musify may collect a date of birth or another age signal when needed to determine eligibility for age-restricted features.
Where stronger age assurance is necessary, Musify may use a qualified age-assurance or verification provider.
Musify seeks to minimize the collection of identity documents and will delete age-verification information when it is no longer necessary.

For account requests, we may use account re-authentication or verification of the account email address.
We will not ask for more information than reasonably necessary to verify and process your request.

Musify retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to legal, security, financial, rights-management, and other applicable requirements.
Our internal baseline retention framework includes:
Active account/profile information: generally for the life of the account, subject to exceptions
Deleted-account residuals: operational target of deletion from primary systems within approximately 30 days, with backups targeted to expire through normal cycles within approximately 90 days
Security/authentication logs: generally 12–24 months on a risk-based basis
Support records: approximately 3 years as a baseline
Privacy-request records: approximately 5 years as a baseline
DMCA/rights cases: approximately 7 years as a baseline
Transaction and billing records: approximately 7 years as a baseline
Creator payout/tax records: approximately 7 years as a baseline
Ticketing transaction records: approximately 7 years as a baseline
Commerce transaction records: approximately 7 years as a baseline
Age-verification raw documents: deleted promptly after the age result is established where possible
Ordinary Hey DJ prompts and outputs: approximately 30 days as a baseline unless the user saves content or a documented feature need requires another period
AI safety/security logs: approximately 90 days as a baseline, with longer retention where necessary for identified incidents
These periods may be adjusted when required by applicable law, legal holds, security needs, financial obligations, contractual requirements, or other legitimate requirements.
Musify maintains security controls designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.
Our security program includes incident response, access controls, logging, vendor security review, and appropriate investigation and remediation procedures.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a qualifying security incident occurs, Musify will evaluate applicable notification obligations and take appropriate steps under applicable law.
If information is reasonably relevant to a pending or anticipated dispute, investigation, subpoena, preservation request, rights claim, or regulatory matter, ordinary deletion may be suspended for the information subject to the legal hold.
A legal hold does not authorize indefinite retention of unrelated information.
Musify may use service providers operating in different locations or jurisdictions.
Where applicable, Musify will implement appropriate contractual, security, and transfer mechanisms for international processing.
The specific vendors and processing locations may change as our Services develop.
Musify may update this Privacy Policy when our Services, data practices, vendors, legal obligations, or privacy controls change.
Material changes will be communicated through appropriate means where required.
